Why does Zoom Tan only have stand-up tanning equipment?

Faster! - Our equipment has a maximum time limit of 10 minutes which is half the time of most lay-downs

Darker! - Because our stand-ups do not have acrylic they allow 15-20% more light to reach your skin

Cleaner! - Stand-up tanning booths are cleaner and more hygienic than lay downs

Better! - Stand-ups eliminate the white spots that lay downs create from pressure points. Stand ups provide a more even tan without any white lines or streaks

Tanning is defined as any process that causes the skin to darken. Tanning is most often the result of exposure to the sun's ultraviolet radiation but can also be from artificial sources. Tanning can be incidental, but many people purposefully expose themselves to UV radiation from the sun or tanning lamps to induce a tan. There are also many methods of tanning utilizing various chemicals applied by either a machine or manually.

At Zoom Tan tanning salons we offer both ultraviolet and chemical tanning solutions. We utilize standup ultraviolet tanning booths in a couple of different wattages to allow you a variety of tanning experiences.

We also use Versaspa spray booths which apply the tanning solution via an automatic process. We place our booths in a private room so it's just you and the machine. This allows you to tan without having to wear clothing. Which offers a quick, efficient, private, all-over tanning experience in an open booth.

When it comes to spray tanning, we utilize the latest and greatest tanning technology. We use the latest spray booths and the best solutions using walnut extracts and produce a beautiful brown rather than the dreaded orange of days gone by.

To assist you in making the best tanning choices available, our staff at each Zoom Tan tanning salon are required to earn a certificate from a third party training institute. This means that each of our store employees is a certified tanning specialist.
